Pastor Louis D’Elia, Sr. Senior Pastor of NALWC

Pastor Louis D'Elia, Sr. served as an elder at Nutley Abundant Life Worship Center for over 15 years before he became the Senior Pastor in 2021. This was thirty years after he gave his heart to Christ here at the church. Abundant Life Academy was instrumental in Pastor Lou's conversion. His son, Louis Jr., was enrolled at the school and would come home with Bible verses and stories. Pastor Lou eventually surrendered his life to Christ.

A graduate of Rutgers University, Pastor Lou also worked at ALA for a few years as Development Director before moving into the Minister of Visitation position at NALWC.

Pastor Lou is happily married to First Lady Lillian who serves on the Board of NALWC.

 

Pastor John Kuebler Superintendent of School

Pastor John Kuebler, the Principal of Abundant Life Academy, has served at ALA for 24 years. He is a graduate of William Paterson University and has done graduate studies at Liberty University. Mr. Kuebler is a former Social Studies teacher, elementary teacher, and Athletic Director.

Pastor Kuebler has served on numerous teams assisting other Christian schools to achieve accredited status. Currently, he also serves as the president of the Metro Christian Athletic Association.

He has been involved in various ministries at NALWC, including youth ministry and intercessory prayer, and he was an elder for 15 years. He became the Associate Pastor of the church in 2021.

Mr. Kuebler has been married for over 20 years. He and his wife, Jennifer, are blessed with three children, all of whom attend or did attend Abundant Life Academy.

Kay Chapman School Principal

Mrs. Chapman has served at ALA for over ten years after a career in finance, having graduated in Business. She then received a call of God to education. She attended the NJ Teacher Certification Program at Seton Hall University, after which she began teaching in a public school. Then the Lord called her into Christian education. She taught 3rd, 5th and 6th grade at ALA before becoming Vice-Principal. Mrs. Chapman also serves on the ACSI North Eastern Regional Accreditation Commission.

Mrs. Chapman is a super servant who is involved in the Greeters Ministry and Married Couples Ministry at Nutley Abundant Life Worship Center. She lives with her husband who is a scientist, an author, and a worship leader, and two children.

Miss Tokes has been in Christian education for 39 years. 2021-2022 marks her 34th year at ALA where she has served in many positions. She has taught all the elementary grades from K5-6th, middle school ELA, and high school Literature. Presently she is the Academic Advisor, Child Study Team and Special Needs Instruction Coordinator, and the High School Department Supervisor.

Miss Tokes received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education from Louisiana Baptist University. She has taken graduate courses in Curriculum and Special Needs Instruction at Shasta Bible College and has ACSI Teacher Certification.

Nutley Abundant Life Worship Center has been her home church for 32 years where she has participated in Media Ministry.

Her hobbies are reading, photography, and LEGO Architecture.

Mary Cincotta School Nurse

Mrs. Cincotta has been married to her husband, David, for over 45 years. She has eight children and 12 grandchildren. She and her husband homeschooled their children for 22 years. She began her nursing career in 1976 in newborn intensive care and in pediatrics, after completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Boston University. 

She has been a member of Bethel Assembly of God in Newark for over 34 years and has served in Missionettes and Women’s Ministries. She was the NJ Northeast Coordinator for Girls Ministries and is currently a women’s Sunday School teacher.

After staying home to raise her children and homeschool them, Mrs. Cincotta re-entered the workforce as a Public Health Nurse in Communicable Disease Reporting for South Orange and Livingston and assisted as a COVID investigator for the Livingston Health Department during the pandemic. She has been especially blessed to be the full-time school nurse at Abundant Life Academy since 2016. 

Her goals are to help children and staff take charge of their health and be as healthy as they can be so they can learn, grow, and embrace life. She desires to point students to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of their faith, to encourage them to see their uniqueness in Christ, and to trust God that He will do amazing things in their lives.

  


 

Chris K. Richardson Athletic Director

Chris K. Richardson has been involved with Abundant Life Academy for over 21 years. His roles have included volunteer, parent, coach, assistant Athletic Director, and currently, Athletic Director. He fully supports the philosophy and mission of Abundant Life Academy and aims to help students advance spiritually and physically in both their sport and personal lives.

Chris has been coaching at Abundant Life Academy for over 7 years in various positions. His teams have won multiple championships in Junior High Basketball and Varsity & Middle School Track & Field. He previously coached High School Football at St. Mary’s High School in Rutherford, NJ. Additionally, he played Semi-Pro football for the Brooklyn Mariners for 11 years, during which time the team earned 11 league championships and 3 National Championships.

Chris has been married to his wife for 26 years, and they have two grown children who graduated from Abundant Life Academy.


  


 

Rhonda Richardson Assistant Athletic Director

Rhonda Richardson has been a dedicated employee of Abundant Life Academy (ALA) for over 20 years. Throughout her tenure, she has held various roles including aide, substitute, preschool teacher, aftercare director, co-director of the ALA Summer Academy, and currently serves as the administrative assistant and assistant athletic director.

Rhonda grew up in Vermont and pursued a college degree in business. In 1991, she moved to New Jersey, where she discovered her passion for working with children. Beyond her professional commitments, Rhonda is actively involved in her church, serving as a kindergarten teacher in the children’s ministry. She has been married to Chris Richardson for 28 years, and they have two grown children who are proud ALA graduates. Rhonda’s enduring commitment to education and her community exemplifies her dedication and love for nurturing young minds.
