Fine Arts

Abundant Life Academy strives to develop each student’s individual gifts and talents. As part of the well-rounded education students receive here at ALA, every student participates in an art and music course. Students also perform in three concerts throughout the year including our annual Christmas Concert. Each student participates in some way whether it be in our ALA mass choir, in a dramatic presentation, or as part of our artistic stage crew. Creativity and inspiration abound and these concerts have been known to be so touching they bring some to tears.

Abundant Life Academy offers an optional instrumental program which features up to 8 distinct instruments. We also have a Fine Arts Ensemble which is our competition choir for grades 9-12. The yearly competition is held at Messiah College, PA.

During our Chapel Services the Chapel Worship Team regularly ministers to their peers during chapel services. High school students are enjoying our new Drama elective and many of our students have enjoyed inclusion activities as an opportunity to minister to students with special needs in nearby schools.

ALA hosts the Annual ACSI Art Festival at which we bring in artists from around the world to lecture on different aspects and approaches to visual arts. ALA launched our first Visual Arts Club in the fall of 2015.

Most of all we want our students to learn to glorify God with their talents, to constructively engage the culture we live in, and to become worshippers.
